The resolution of the Ukrainian conflict is impossible without representatives of the Ukrainian authorities, said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president.
“It is impossible to fully resolve the Ukrainian issue without the participation of any representative of Kiev. So, someone in Kiev must make a responsible decision on the resolution; this is a mandatory condition,” Peskov said, responding to Interfax’s request to comment on the recent statement of US President Donald Trump, who had said that the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict was possible without the participation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
