This means that Häcken are now eight points ahead of Hammarby with only four rounds remaining after Sunday’s match. And considering that Häcken had won 19 of 21 matches before the season’s final stretch, most people probably understand that it will take a lot for Häcken to lose the title in 2026.
Häcken started strongly and, in the second minute, national team star Anna Anvegård hit the post with a shot from outside the box. In the 11th minute, Maja Bodin hit the same post before Thea Palmadottir put the rebound into the goal to make it 1-0.
Häcken continued to have the upper hand and, in the 38th minute, Anvegård hit the same post once again, after which Tabby Tindell made it 2-0 on the rebound.
"We played pretty well and did what we wanted to do. Getting the second goal meant a lot to us," American Tindell told SVT at half-time.
