(ANSA) - ROME, 19 OTT - President Sergio Mattarella on Monday called the weekend violence at riots in Milan unacceptable and voiced full solidarity with law enforcement officers, many of whom were hurt.
"This is a service that entails ensuring the security of our municipalities and towns—places where any form of violence is unacceptable. My full solidarity goes out to law enforcement," said Mattarella, while speaking at the opening ceremony of the 39th National Assembly of the Provinces of Italy (UPI).
