Dua Lipa and husband Callum Turner enjoy a low-key day out as they walk their dog in workout gear in NYC

Dua Lipa and husband Callum Turner enjoyed a break from their busy schedules as they headed on a low-key dog walk in New York on Wednesday.

Ditching their glam ensembles, the couple who married in June, opted for casual workout gear for the stroll with their Labrador-Rottweiler mix, Golo.

Dua, 31, wrapped up against the October chill in an oversized grey trench coat, which she teamed with leggings, white socks and black trainers.

The Levitating hitmaker finished her off-duty look with dark sunglasses, while her raven locks were left to cascade down her back.

Callum, 36, meanwhile cut a very relaxed figure, opting for a blue sweater which he teamed with navy joggers and grey trainers.

The couple's low-key looks were in stark contrast to Monday night, when they were dressed to the nines while attending the Metropolitan Opera's opening night gala in New York City.

The Houdini singer and the British actor sweetly held hands while making their way to the star-studded performance of Lincoln in the Bardo.

Dua wowed in a daring black Ferragamo gown from creative director Maximilian Davis's Spring 2027 collection.

The glamorous dress, which was adorned with paillettes, featured a saucy side slit and off-the-shoulder sleeves.

Her husband, who opted to skip the red carpet, cut a dashing figure in a sharp black suit and dress shoes.

Dua recently shared she and Turner 'never lost sight of one another' during their wedding, as they strived to 'create so many memories' on their big day.

The pair first married in a legal ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall in May, and just one week later they jetted to Italy for their grand wedding.

She told Vogue Italia: 'Our wedding day was magical. We received so much advice, but we decided to follow just two suggestions: to experience the day as though we were guests ourselves, and to keep finding each other throughout the crowd, never losing sight of one another. That way, we created so many memories together.'

Discussing how she navigates balancing her work and personal life, Lipa added: 'I'm very good at finding a balance between work, hobbies, and family.

'I've never put my ambition aside, and I'm fortunate to be with someone who loves working as much as I do. We understand and support each other'.

'To me, he's family. Our creative language is unique. When we make decisions together, it's as if we share the same brain - we follow the same instincts.'

Dua also shared that her newfound happiness as a married woman may begin to affect her upcoming music, having previously taken inspiration from heartbreak.

She said: 'It's easier to write love songs when your heart is broken because heartbreak is such a powerful, loud emotion.'

'But now I want to discover what happens when you truly find love. I'm interested in the complexities of a relationship - its quieter moments, the little things.'
