About the Series: Shelby's Wrestling Corner discusses wrestlers in AEW and WWE who made an impact over the last week. Whether it's a cool move that made the crowd gasp or a promo that stuck with fans days later, this is a place to celebrate professional wrestling. This week, we will be looking at performances from Oct. 9 to Oct. 15, 2026.
It's Tiffy Time!
That's right, the new women's Money in the Bank contract holder is the newest wrestler of the week.
Tiffany Stratton bested five other competitors to become a two-time Money in the Bank winner. It isn't what I thought would happen, but I am not mad at the outcome. As a fan, I enjoyed both Money in the Bank matches. As a person who thinks some logic is needed in a ladder match, I will admit there were a couple of times where I was shouting "just grab the briefcase" at superstars who climbed ladders only to jump off them, or be pushed off them and put through an ambulance roof, moments later.
She has this blonde Barbie aesthetic that makes some fans view her as weak, but she is entertaining in the ring and, despite some notable mistakes in recent feuds, she is getting better on the microphone. I think she is a good champion but an even better challenger.
After her last run as Ms. Money in the Bank, I am excited to see who she challenges. Especially if that road leads her towards a match with Chelsea Green.
