On Sunday evening, the Yemeni Houthi movement said it was behind the attacks.
Authorities in Riyadh have suspended flights to and from the airport following the incident. Earlier on Sunday, it was announced that several schools would hold classes remotely.
King Khalid Airport has been closed since Saturday’s deadly attack, which killed at least 12 people and injured more than 300.
On Sunday afternoon, the Houthi movement accused Saudi Arabia of attacking the airport in Yemen’s capital, Sanaa. Saudi Arabia has vowed to retaliate for Saturday’s deadly attack.
