Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) marked its 27th founding anniversary on 25 October 2026 with the theme "27 Years Anchored in Trust".
According to the bank's press release, the bank held its main celebration at its corporate head office, MTB Centre, in Gulshan, Dhaka.
Syed Mahbubur Rahman, managing director and CEO, and Chowdhury Akhtar Asif, additional managing director and chief business officer, attended the event, along with other senior management and employees.
The programme included speeches, reflections on the bank's journey, discussions on its future direction and a cake-cutting ceremony.
In his address, Syed Mahbubur Rahman thanked regulators, employees, customers, partners and the media for their continued trust and support. He said MTB's enduring strength lay in the trust it had built over the past 27 years.
MTB also celebrated the anniversary at MTB Tower, as well as at all branches and sub-branches nationwide.
Through these celebrations, the bank reaffirmed its commitment to innovation, sustainability and customer-focused banking.
