Earlier this week, police and the Swedish Economic Crime Agency carried out a new raid as part of “Operation Candy” - a police operation in which several high-profile arrests were made this spring.
The arrested man is suspected of being part of a chain used to launder money from, among other things, tax crimes.
“In a complicated money-laundering carousel, money from organized crime is laundered using company accounts,” prosecutor Nils Råby says in a press release.
Ten people have already been detained in the case.
