Timberland’s Premium 6-Inch Waterproof Boot may be the Stratham, New Hampshire-based outdoor footwear company’s bread and butter, but it’s far from the only iconic shoe in its lineup.
Another one of the label’s most celebrated models is the Field Boot, a silhouette first introduced in 1983 which melded the era’s breakthroughs in athletic footwear — particularly basketball sneakers — with Timberland’s established reputation for producing rugged hiking boots.
Now, just as we enter the back half of fall, Timberland has released a new version of the Field Boot which not only offers a new, camouflage-accented look, but upgrades the classic boot with functional technology.
The Timberland Field Boot in Brown Full-grain/Camo features a Gore-Tex membrane, elevating the typical waterproof construction of the Field Boot with an even more protective liner that’s also breathable. But the brand didn’t stop there, as Timberland also beefed up the model with a Vibram rubber outsole which offers both improved durability and traction.
While the standard Field Boot is already fully capable of tackling winter on its own, the addition of Gore-Tex and Vibram turns the shoe into an even more equipped powerhouse for bad weather scenarios.
Timberland has wasted no time in rolling out new styles for fall and winter. Notable pairs that have already been released include a Euro Hiker collaboration with industry veteran Victor Kan, a Día de Muertos pack for men and women, croc-embossed Authentic Bot Shoes courtesy of Jacquemus and a restock of Supreme’s fan-favorite Diamond Plate Premium 6-Inch Waterproof Boots.
The Timberland Field Boot with Gore-Tex Membrane in Brown Full-grain/Camo is available now from timberland.com and select retailers including Snipes and Sneaker Politics for $230. The boot’s style code is TB0A2NRWAMA. Readers can find a full look at the style in the gallery below.
