SEJONG — The Korea Arboreta and Gardens Institute said on the 22nd that it is operating a KakaoTalk channel called the "KoAGI Regulatory Rationalization Channel" to address regulatory difficulties faced by the public and by small and mid-sized companies.
The institute has added the mobile intake channel, which can be used without identity verification, and will run it alongside its existing website. Submissions cover regulatory difficulties faced by small and mid-sized companies, any disadvantage or discrimination against corporate complainants who have submitted opinions on regulatory improvement, and requests for regulatory justification.
The institute said it plans to analyze the current status and problems in each submission, draw up improvement measures after review by the relevant departments, and consult with related agencies where necessary.
The institute has previously pursued regulatory changes reflecting on-site conditions, including a revision of visitor rules to allow nighttime opening.
"We will continue to gather a wide range of views from the public and businesses, and identify regulatory improvement tasks that can be felt in the field," said Sim Sang-taek, chairman of the Korea Arboreta and Gardens Institute.
