Jio Platforms’ IPO runs October 21–23 with a ₹1,065–1,119 price band and 12-share lot. Check the ₹13,428 upper-band amount, payment deadline, use of proceeds, risks and allotment channels.
1/7
The offer document names Jio Platforms Limited, with Reliance Industries as promoter. Check the legal issuer rather than assuming every Reliance or Jio-branded activity belongs to the company whose shares you are applying for.
2/7
The abridged prospectus gives October 21 as the opening date and October 23 as the closing date. Zerodha’s issue page also lists these dates. Apply with the current issue schedule open, particularly if using a platform-specific cut-off.
3/7
The listed price band is ₹1,065–1,119 and the lot size is 12 shares. One lot therefore amounts to ₹12,780 at the floor or ₹13,428 at the cap. These application amounts do not predict the eventual listing price.
4/7
The prospectus specifies a 7 pm IST UPI-mandate deadline on October 23. Submitting a bid and completing its payment authorisation are separate steps; check the confirmation status and your intermediary’s operational deadline instead of waiting until the last minute.
5/7
The abridged prospectus describes a fresh issue and lists repayment or prepayment of borrowings of material subsidiary Reliance Jio Infocomm, plus general corporate purposes, among the uses of net proceeds. Read the detailed allocation in the offer document.
6/7
The document highlights licence and spectrum renewal, network reliability, cybersecurity and dependence on Reliance Jio Infocomm among its risks. Zerodha also flags competition and regulation. Issue size or an unofficial grey-market premium does not remove these exposures.
7/7
The offer document names KFin Technologies as registrar. Zerodha’s tentative schedule lists allotment finalisation on October 26 and listing on October 28. Check the registrar or exchange for the result rather than treating a submitted application as a confirmed allotment.
