KUALA LUMPUR: ES Sunlogy Bhd has secured shareholders' approval for a recurrent related party transactions mandate as it strengthens its partnership with Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd and expands its project pipeline.
The mandate allows ES Sunlogy to undertake routine transactions with related parties on normal commercial terms.
Kerjaya Prospek became a strategic shareholder in ES Sunlogy with a 31 per cent stake after investing about RM64.31 million between July and August 2026.
The two companies, which have collaborated since 2018 on mechanical and electrical (M&E) works, are looking to jointly pursue mixed-use, industrial and infrastructure projects.
ES Sunlogy's subsidiary Savelite Engineering Sdn Bhd secured a RM15.63 million electrical works contract in September for a 1,078-unit serviced apartment project in Johor Bahru.
Earlier this year, the company also won a RM107.5 million M&E subcontract from China State Construction Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd for a building project in Johor.
It is expanding into high-voltage power transmission after upgrading its licence to 275kV last year.
It has secured a Tenaga Nasional Bhd substation project in Lembah Beringin, Selangor, and is targeting more grid-related work over the next two to three years.
In renewable energy, ES Sunlogy operates two solar farms, Junjong LSSPV plant and Selarong LSSPV plant, with capacities of 20.76MW and 29.99MW respectively.
It also plans to bid for the upcoming Large Scale Solar 6 programme with a solar-plus-battery storage proposal.
ES Sunlogy managing director Khor Chuan Meng said the approval of this mandate will facilitate its ongoing business dealings with Kerjaya Prospek on normal commercial terms, supporting closer collaboration as it pursues new project opportunities together.
"Our growth strategy centres on strengthening our core M&E engineering business while expanding our capabilities in high-voltage power transmission and renewable energy," he said in a statement.
ES Sunlogy remains optimistic about its prospects, supported by its established track record, technical expertise, growing renewable energy presence and continued focus on operational excellence.
