A man was left terrified after an arson attack at his home in north London was carried out hours after he reported a disturbance to police.
Officers were called at around 1.50am on Saturday, July 18, after a resident of Lydford Road, Maida Hill reported a suspected intruder outside his front door.
Police attended the scene and no one was located nearby - but at around 4.50am, police and the London Fire Brigade (LFB) were called to reports of a fire at the same address.
A man was inside the property at the time of the fire, but did not sustain any injuries.
Officers have now released an image of a man who they would like to speak to in connection with their investigation.
