How to Get Free Champion Teal Knight FNCS Skin in Fortnite

There’s a new FNCS Champion skin that you can claim for free called Teal Knight, which is a redesign of the Red Knight from Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 1. This version of the character is teal in color, as the name states, and is officially part of the FNCS. That said, here’s what you need to know about how to get the Champion FNCS Teal Knight skin in Fortnite for free.

You can get the Fortnite Champion Teal Knight skin and other associated cosmetics for free by participating in the upcoming FNCS Cup on October 18, 2026, during Fortnitemares 2026. It has a “Solo” format and is to be played in “Battle Royale/Zero Build” and “Reload” modes.

If you’re on “Mobile,” your default mode is Reload, which is great, as there are plenty of Kado Thorne Fortnite Quests to complete as well for XP and other rewards. Remember to finish them as soon as possible.

Here is the breakdown of the time and duration of matches in each mode:

Mode	Time and Duration	Number of Matches
Battle Royale/Zero Build	11 AM ET to 3 PM ET	12
Reload (Mobile)	10 AM ET to 11:15 PM ET	8

Similar to the recent Kado Thorne Cup in Fortnite, you need to secure a certain rank in the Champion FNCS Teal Knight Cup to get the skin. The rank needed depends on your region and the mode on which you’re playing.

Here is a breakdown of how high players need to rank to get the Champion FNCS Teal Knight skin in Fortnite for free:

Region	Rank Required for BR/ZB	Rank Required for Reload
OCE	Top 100	Top 30
Asia	Top 100	Top 30
ME	Top 100	Top 30
EU	Top 1,000	Top 200
BR	Top 200	Top 30
NAC	Top 700	Top 150
NAW	Top 200	Top 30

If you rank high enough to get the Fortnite Champion FNCS Teal Knight skin for free, you’re eligible to get other rewards as well. They will be added to your locker before they are listed in the Fortnite Item Shop for sale. Here is a list of all cosmetic rewards you can get from the Fortnite Champion Teal Knight FNCS Cup:

• FNCS Teal Knight (Outfit)
• FNCS Ice Breaker (Pickaxe)
• FNCS Shield (Back Bling)
• Knightly FNCS (Wrap)

Lastly, if you manage to secure a few points from elimination, you can get two additional free cosmetics from the Fortnite Champion FNCS Teal Knight Cup. Here is the breakdown of the points needed:

Prize	Points Required for BR/ZB	Points Required for Reload
Teal Knight’s Emblem Back Bling	40	20
Teal Knight’s Kick Spray	8	5

That’s everything you need to know about how to get the Fortnite Champion FNCS Teal Knight skin in Fortnite for free. Remember that the upcoming FNCS Cup is in Solo format, which means there’s no one coming to save you. Try to score as many eliminations as you can in the early game and make use of every item from the Fortnite loot pool to gain a tactical advantage.
