EU investigates Booking.com over online fraud and phishing risks

The EU's digital watchdog said it would assess whether the online platform 'properly identified' risks linked to the spread of illegal content such as non-existent properties and fraudsters portraying themselves as the owner of a property and putting it up for rent.
