The Kansas City Chiefs are one of three undefeated NFL teams in 2026, winning each of their first four games to open up the season.
The Chiefs finished the 2025 season with a disappointing 6-11 record, missing the playoffs for the first time since 2014. But this year, the team looks fully back to its Super Bowl contending ways.
Chiefs defensive end George Karlaftis has two Super Bowl wins with Kansas City. And as the team comes off its Week 5 bye, Karlaftis sees some clear similarities between those championship teams and this year's squad.
“I can say this, I’ve been a part of some great teams that have won Super Bowls and this reminds me of teams that, you know I can speak for this team right now that it’s a resilient team with guys that are hungry and love football," Karlaftis told reporters on Wednesday.
The Chiefs opened up their 2026 campaign with wins over the Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins and Las Vegas Raiders. This coming Sunday, they'll look to further their undefeated record against the Los Angeles Chargers.
