Manchester United and Liverpool are both considering a move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha, according to TEAMtalk.
The report suggests that Manchester United have made contact as they assess their options ahead of the winter transfer window.
Meanwhile, Liverpool reportedly see the 26-year-old as a potential alternative to Bournemouth’s Alex Scott.
Chelsea, Tottenham, Newcastle United, Manchester City and Arsenal have also previously been linked with Nmecha.
A winter transfer appears highly unlikely, but Dortmund would be powerless to prevent a move if a club triggers Nmecha’s €80 million release clause in the summer, before it expires at the end of June.
Nmecha’s contract with Dortmund runs until 2030.
