SHEFFIELD Tigers boss Simon Stead wants to see a packed-out Owlerton tonight as his side try and build up an advantage in the home leg of their Grand Final against Belle Vue (7.30pm).
The first leg was scheduled to take place last Thursday, but a worsening weather forecast prompted club bosses to make an early postponement - a decision that proved to be spot on with rain hammering the Hillsborough area from 6.45pm onwards.
It means the decider will now take place in Manchester on Friday (October 16, 7.30pm) at the National Speedway Stadium.
And Stead says the Tigers’ faithful can play their part from the terraces as they look to head to the home of the Aces with an aggregate lead.

“I really hope to see the place full,” Stead said. “Let’s make one of those really special Owlerton atmospheres under the lights - then it’s down to us to go out there and get the job done.
“The beauty of the play-offs is that anything can happen and nothing is guaranteed.
"We’re going to be giving it absolutely everything.”
