The Chargers made a flurry of moves ahead of their Week 6 matchup against the Chiefs.
Los Angeles announced that it activated wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith from injured reserve.
In a corresponding move, the Chargers released wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

The Chargers also signed outside linebacker Caleb Murphy to the active roster, filling the spot vacated by fullback Alec Ingold being placed on injured reserve.
Los Angeles didn't stop there. They also elevated offensive lineman Daniel Brunskill and cornerback Isas Waxter from the practice squad for Sunday’s contest.
Lambert-Smith has missed the first five games of the 2026 season due to a hamstring injury. Earlier this week, the Chargers designated Lambert-Smith for return from injured reserve.
On Friday, Lambert-Smith was listed as questionable for Sunday's contest, and it appears he will make his season debut against the Chiefs.
The second-year wideout fully participated in Friday's practice and could be involved right away, as the Chargers' wide receiver room is hampered.
Lambert-Smith will look to do his part in helping the Chargers grab their first win of the season.
The Chargers are massive road underdogs at +7.5.
