The Islamabad district administration has ordered an intensified crackdown on sheesha cafes across the federal capital following the Islamabad High Court’s written ruling on the ban.
The deputy commissioner has directed all assistant commissioners to step up enforcement efforts and ensure strict compliance with the court’s orders.
According to the district administration, authorities have already sealed several sheesha cafes and confiscated their equipment during ongoing daily operations.
The crackdown will now be expanded across Islamabad, including E-11 and Bahria Civic Center, with officials instructed to take action against violators without discrimination.
The deputy commissioner has also ordered the registration of criminal cases against sheesha cafe owners who refuse to cooperate with authorities.
