Matt LaFleur had a strong endorsement for Jordan Love after the Green Bay Packers secured a 23-13 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. The head coach’s emphatic assessment reflected his confidence in the quarterback, who helped guide Green Bay to another important win.
LaFleur used a brief but memorable description to express his admiration for Love’s performance. The coach’s praise highlighted the quarterback’s toughness and competitive mindset, qualities that have become increasingly important as the Packers continue building momentum. Green Bay’s latest victory also extended its winning streak to three games, strengthening the team’s position as the season progresses.
Love’s performance against Dallas came as the Packers relied on a balanced effort to control the game. Although the offense did not need to carry the entire burden, the quarterback remained central to Green Bay’s ability to manage possessions and capitalize on opportunities. His presence under center continues to give the team confidence in its ability to compete against quality opposition.
Green Bay’s defense also played a significant role in the victory, limiting the Cowboys to 13 points and helping prevent Dallas from generating enough offense to threaten the outcome. The unit’s performance complemented the offense and demonstrated how the Packers can succeed without relying exclusively on explosive passing plays. That balance could prove valuable as the team faces tougher challenges later in the campaign.

“He’s a G,” Matt LaFleur said. “We talk about playing like a G. He’s a G.”
LaFleur’s comments also underscored the relationship between the coaching staff and its quarterback. Love has become a central figure in Green Bay’s plans, and continued trust from the head coach can help reinforce his confidence during high-pressure situations. For the Packers, maintaining consistency on both sides of the ball will be essential if they hope to turn their recent success into a sustained playoff push.
Ultimately, the victory over Dallas offered another encouraging sign for a Green Bay team gaining momentum. Love received a public vote of confidence from his coach, while the defense showed it could deliver when the offense needed support. If the Packers continue combining steady quarterback play with disciplined defense, they will have a strong foundation to build on as the season moves forward.
