The Jacksonville Jaguars added linebacker Jamal Hill to their practice squad, the club announced.
Hill, a sixth-round draft pick by the Houston Texans in 2024, has appeared in 25 games during his career. He's recorded 14 tackles and forced a fumble during his playing time.
Hill was recently cut by the Texans as they tried to shuffle their roster for wide receiver Tank Dell's return. The Jaguars have added several linebackers to their roster since the start of training camp as they battled injuries to the position.
Jaguars most pivotal players at bye: It starts with Trevor Lawrence
Hill has mostly contributed on special teams in his career, but adds depth to the linebacker position for Jacksonville.
The Jaguars are currently on their bye week and will return next week for their Week 8 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.
