INCHEON — A man believed to be in his 50s or 60s wielded a knife at a Homeplus store in Incheon's Namdong District at about 1:49 p.m. on the 13th, injuring several shoppers.
Police who responded to a report of a knife attack inside the store arrested the suspect, a man in his 60s identified by his surname A, at the scene, according to the Incheon Namdong Police Station and fire authorities.
Between six and eight shoppers who were in the store at the time were injured in the attack, and authorities are still tallying the exact number of victims.
Police are questioning the suspect to determine his motive and how he obtained the knife.
