Speaking in an interview shared on Saturday, October 17, Harriet responded candidly when the host asked whether she had ever been dumped because of social media. Her answer was a firm yes.
"I am having difficulty in dating. I don't get understanding boyfriends," she said, before recounting one particularly difficult situation involving a former partner.

Harriet and Mumias East MP Peter Salasya have previously faced swirling speculation that the two were romantically involved, though both dismissed the claims. It appears, however, that not everyone close to Harriet was as convinced.

She revealed that one ex-boyfriend grew increasingly insecure about her working alongside Salasya, and the situation was made worse by online dating rumours linking her to media personality Obinna as well.
"He tended to believe internet rumours, whereas when I come to tell you nothing is going on - I don't have to explain myself further. You have to trust me as your girlfriend," she said.
Rather than continuing to defend herself, Harriet drew a firm line. When her boyfriend issued her an ultimatum to stop working with Salasya, she refused to comply.
"I was like, he cannot control me and we broke up," she said.
The interview clip drew strong reactions online, with followers split on who was in the wrong.
