High-end fashion was at the forefront of the sixth annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night. The Hollywood glitterati arrived in their resplendent droves, shining on the red carpet in style.
Pamela Anderson, 59, stole the show in a dazzling ensemble by Carolina Herrera. Embracing understated elegance, the mother of two donned a crisp white button-down shirt, which she tucked into the waistband of a flowing, pastel green, full-length tutu-style skirt, which featured a dreamy finish. The romantic, almost ethereal ensemble was finished with a bow tied at the waist and a dramatic, sweeping train.

This new look for Pamela simply oozes Carrie Bradshaw glamour. Throughout the Sex and the City protagonist's signature style, Sarah Jessica Parker's character had a love affair with tulle, and it was well-documented throughout the series, making it a quintessential element of her wardrobe.
Tulle is often associated with ethereal charm and a playful bounce, and it became a hallmark of Carrie Bradshaw's bold and adventurous fashion sense.

SJP named the statement look from the final episode her favourite, telling Entertainment Weekly: ''I think I loved the tutu dress that I wore at the end of the Paris episode because it was an outfit that was about an image that Carrie had, which was, like so often happens to Carrie, what she wanted to project onto the scenario of wearing that dress, a pie in her face," she explained.
"That outfit got to tell so many stories, and it was such a romantic outfit and it was so delicate and it had so much grace to it, and it ran around Paris, and that was not how she had imagined that outfit," the actress mused.
