Barcelona’s remarkable start to the 2026-27 season has been defined by an extraordinary goalscoring record, with five goals in a match becoming the norm.
Flick’s side have already scored five goals against Elche, Rayo Vallecano, Valencia, Feyenoord and Betis, while putting seven past Racing.
However, the most impressive aspect is the number of different players contributing to Hansi Flick’s attacking machine.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Catalans have scored 48 goals in just 11 competitive matches, averaging 4.3 per game.
Of those, 39 have come in La Liga, approximately 20 more than second-placed Atletico Madrid have scored.
Barcelona now have 13 different goalscorers
Saturday’s 5-2 victory over Real Betis provided another example of Barcelona’s attacking depth, with Eric Garcia, Rodri and Dani Olmo all opening their goalscoring accounts for the season.
Rodri’s header from a corner was particularly special, marking his first goal since joining Barcelona.

Eric Garcia also found the net following Pau Cubarsi’s aerial contribution, becoming the fourth Barcelona defender to score in La Liga this season, alongside Xavi Espart, Joao Cancelo and Jules Kounde.
Meanwhile, Olmo ended a frustrating 24-match wait for a goal with an outstanding finish into the far corner.
Those contributions have taken Barcelona’s tally of different goalscorers to 13, matching a mark previously achieved at the start of the 1995-96 league campaign.
Flick has created an attack that does not rely on one player
What makes these numbers especially encouraging is that Barcelona have maintained their remarkable scoring rate even without Raphinha.
Rather than relying exclusively on their forwards, Flick has built a system in which midfielders and defenders regularly arrive in dangerous positions.

The contributions from Rodri and Eric Garcia also underline Barcelona’s growing threat from set pieces, providing another way to break down opponents.
When opponents concentrate on stopping Lamine Yamal or Barcelona’s other attacking stars, players such as Fermin, Olmo and Rodri tend to profit.
The challenge now for Flick is to turn this attacking prowess into statement performances against PSG and Real Madrid this week.
Barça are turning heads across Europe with the ease with which they are dismantling opponents.
Right now, the Catalans look unstoppable, and it remains to be seen whether they can maintain this goalscoring rate against the defending European champions.
