TRUMP: SAUDI ARABIA “VERY HAPPY” TO RECEIVE SUPPORT FROM U.S. AND ISRAEL
U.S. President Donald Trump said Saudi Arabia would be willing to accept Israeli assistance in confronting the Houthi movement, arguing that Riyadh has benefited significantly from support provided by both Washington and Israel.
Asked whether he believed Saudi Arabia would accept Israel helping in the fight against the Houthis, Trump replied:
> “Yes, I think they will. Israel has helped Saudi Arabia a lot.”
Trump also said Saudi Arabia was “very happy” to receive support from both Israel and the United States.
His remarks come as regional tensions remain high over the Houthi movement and its attacks in and around the Red Sea, raising questions about the future role of Israel and the United States in supporting Gulf partners against the group.
