The Patriotic Movement for Asiwaju (PMA), an All Progressives Congress (APC) support group, has promised to mobilise more than two million voters for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
The group said it had put structures in place across the country to mobilise support for Tinubu’s re-election bid, expressing confidence in its capacity to deliver on the target.
The National Coordinator of PMA, Hajia Hon. Zainab Cengiz Abbas, made this known during a press briefing in Abuja on Monday.
She said the movement, with its presence across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), was well coordinated and firmly established at the grassroots to achieve the target.
Abbas said the group had the organisational capacity and nationwide network required to mobilise voters and encourage Nigerians to support the President in the forthcoming election.
She noted that PMA had participated in similar mobilisation efforts during the 2023 general election, adding that the experience gained had strengthened its preparations for the 2027 polls.
The coordinator also highlighted what she described as the successes of Tinubu’s administration, particularly its economic reforms and efforts to reposition the country for sustainable development.
She urged Nigerians to remain patient with the administration, noting that reforms could present short-term challenges while creating opportunities for long-term economic growth.
According to her, the group believes that the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration deserve continued public support and an opportunity to deliver their intended benefits.
Abbas maintained that PMA was committed to expanding its mobilisation activities, engaging communities and encouraging eligible voters to participate in the democratic process.
She added that the movement would intensify its grassroots outreach ahead of the 2027 election to ensure that its target of mobilising more than two million voters for Tinubu was achieved.
The group reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the President’s re-election bid, expressing confidence in its nationwide structures and mobilisation strategy.
