KATHMANDU, Oct. 12: The country is experiencing the combined influence of westerly winds and monsoon winds, with overcast skies expected in the Himalayan regions of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
Partly cloudy skies are expected in other Himalayan regions and hilly areas, while the Terai is likely to remain mostly clear.

Moderate rain or snowfall is possible at isolated places in the Himalayan and hilly regions of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, as well as in the Himalayan region of Lumbini Province.
Light rain or snowfall is likely at one or two places in the Himalayan and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and in the hilly region of Lumbini Province.
