Milan winger Chukwueze is expected to remain out of action for several weeks, according to reports in Italy.
Latest Milan team news: Chukwueze’s injury
The former Fulham loanee did not take part in a morning training session on Wednesday, the eve of a Europa League game against Bournemouth, and will undergo medical tests later today.
According to Sport Mediaset, the 27-year-old will also have a specialist visit today to determine the extent of his injury.
Reports say Chukwueze felt discomfort in his left hip, and Milan fear the injury could be serious enough to sideline the Nigerian for several weeks or even months.

Chukwueze’s injury adds to Alexis Saelemaekers’ recent ankle surgery, which has kept the Belgian sidelined for at least the next five months.
Chukwueze has been a regular starter for Milan under Ruben Amorim this season, with two assists in eight appearances across all competitions.
