Israeli security forces on Saturday killed one Hamas commander and two other Hamas terrorists in a series of targeted strikes in Gaza, the IDF announced on Monday.
First, the IDF struck the Tuffah area in the northern Gaza Strip and killed Mohammed Khamis Jaber, a member of Hamas's military wing. Jaber, according to the IDF, "played a significant role in the functioning of Hamas’ production headquarters, and took part in its rehabilitation and development efforts."
Also on Saturday, during additional strikes in the same area, Israeli forces killed Majed Ahmed Mustafa Sabbagh, a cell commander from Hamas' military wing.
In the area of Jabalya, the IDF struck and killed Amer Bashir Mohammed Khourani, a member of Hamas's military engineering battalion.
According to the military, all three had recently worked to coordinate attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and operated to restore the organization's military capabilities, in systematic violation of the ceasefire.
IDF kills two terrorists in Gaza Strip for roles in October 7, attempts to harm Israeli civilians
The IDF killed a Hamas commander who participated in the October 7 massacre and a Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist in two separate Thursday strikes, the military confirmed on Friday morning.
An airstrike in the northern Gaza Strip targeted and killed Mohammed Mohammed Abd al-Khalek Hala, a commander in the Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas's military wing. Hala infiltrated Israeli territory on October 7, the military said.
Hala was a commander in the weapons production headquarters of Hamas's military wing, producing different weapons and advancing Hamas's military presence in the Gaza Strip.
The IDF also killed Ahmad Jabrin Tawqif Dalhan, who was a terrorist in the al-Quds Brigades, PIJ's military wing, in a strike in Khan Yunis. Dalhan advanced attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians, the statement explained. He violated the ceasefire through his attempts to restore PIJ to its pre-war strength in the Gaza Strip.
