With a season-opening win over the Celtics in the books, the Pistons take to the road Friday to face the new-look Heat.
After posting the best record in the Eastern Conference last season, Detroit got right back on track Tuesday against Boston with a balanced effort. Cade Cunningham and Jalen Duren had 22 points apiece, while Duncan Robinson added 21 and Javonte Green chipped in 19 off the bench.
Though the cast of characters for the Pistons looks mostly the same, the Heat made one of the biggest moves of the offseason with the addition of Giannis Antetokounmpo. The two-time MVP joins fellow newcomers Klay Thompson, Bobby Portis and Tim Hardaway Jr. (not to mention Bam Adebayo) to give Erik Spoelstra a roster with plenty of experience as the Heat try to keep pace in the East.
