If you believed we were leaving citrus hues back in the summer season, think again. Jennifer Lawrence just proved that a lime-green bag is the perfect addition to an easy, comfy fall look.
Stepping out in New York City in one of her effortless, refreshingly lived-in street-style moments, the Die My Love actor was seen wearing an oversize navy-blue crewneck sweater with a pair of light-wash jeans. The knitwear, layered over a gray tee, was crafted from buttery-soft recycled cashmere, with a baggy, drop-shoulder silhouette and a touch of ribbed trim. Courtesy of La Ligne (and actually one of the co-founder’s favorite pieces from the brand), it looked enviably cozy, and mirrored the shape of her relaxed jeans, worn-in at the knees.

The actor’s brown suede slippers almost finished the cozy autumnal look, but of course, we all know Lawrence loves a pop of color. Brightening up her deep blues and neutrals, the star carried her lime-green Hermès Bolide, a rare edition of the house’s historic style. (The leather bag was first introduced in 1923 with a curved shape perfect for fitting into the rounded trunks of cars, and has since been reimagined decade after decade.) The vibrant piece—like many of its counterparts—was defined by its decorative stitching, gold-plated hardware, and protective metal feet.
This particular It girl happens to have the piece in another color, too. Her other, a burgundy crocodile version, might be more traditionally suited to the fall, but hey, we’re partial to making the neon summer shade a year-round staple.
