Honor has opened pre-orders in China for the WIN 2 ahead of an October 21 launch event. The company confirms dual-fan cooling, and leaks point to a top-tier chipset powering the phone.
Pre-orders for the Honor WIN 2 are open on the company's Chinese online store. The listing requires a CNY 100 (about $14) deposit and shows no final price. Honor has scheduled a launch event for October 21 at 14:30 GMT+8, and buyers pay the rest after the event.
The store page lists five memory configurations: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB. Colors are Red Blue Buff, Black and White. Pre-order buyers receive a WIN 2.0 gift box, and Honor lists a trade-in subsidy of up to CNY 1,200 with up to 12 interest-free installments.
Honor has detailed the cooling system in an official poster. The WIN 2 series uses two fans. A vertical cross-flow fan reaches 20,000 RPM, while a side fan reaches 31,000 RPM. Honor says total airflow is 284% higher than on the previous generation. In Honor's lab testing, body temperature drops by up to 10°C in 50 seconds. Honor also says the design passed an SGS cooling certification.

Weibo tipster 搞机阿森 (Gaoji Asen) lists the remaining specifications. The WIN 2 reportedly uses the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, promising top-of-the-line performance. Other reported specifications include a 6.89-inch flat 2K OLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate, a 10,100mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging, and dual 1216 speakers. The cameras reportedly include a Samsung S5KHPE main sensor (1/1.4-inch, 200MP), an OmniVision OV13B10 (13MP) ultra-wide camera and a Sony IMX816 (50MP) front camera. Honor's teaser images show two rear lenses, compared with three on the original WIN.

ⓘ 搞机阿森
The original Honor WIN was released in China in December 2025 with the then-latest flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a 10,000mAh battery, a 6.83-inch 185Hz OLED display and one cooling fan. Honor has not confirmed global availability for the Honor WIN 2, but since the original WIN series has been sold only in mainland China, buyers elsewhere would likely need to import the phone.

Instead of sports, I spent my school years buried in researching about everything tech, looking into chips and specs instead of doing whatever normal kids did. I am now writing for NotebookCheck, hoping that research finally reaches more people than just me and a text file.
