The Punjab School Education Department has announced a new e-transfer round for promoted teachers, teachers awaiting postings, and those working in outsourced schools. Eligible teachers can submit online applications through the School Information System (SIS) portal from October 15 to October 19, 2026.
According to the official notification issued on October 15, the transfer process aims to facilitate postings against available vacancies across the province. The department has directed district education authorities to ensure that promoted teachers are properly tagged in the SIS portal.
Under the Punjab E-Transfer Policy 2024, teachers who fail to secure postings due to insufficient preferences or failure to select available vacancies may be assigned to vacant positions by the department or appointing authority.
The department will verify applications and supporting documents from October 20 to October 22, while concerns raised by applicants will be addressed from October 23 to October 26. The final e-transfer orders are scheduled to be issued on October 27, 2026.
Eligible teachers are advised to review available vacancies and submit their posting preferences through the official SIS portal within the announced deadline.
