Barcelona reportedly fear Dani Olmo could be out for around 4-5 weeks if MRI tests show he suffered an adductor tear in Tuesday’s defeat to PSG.
Olmo was forced off in the first half of the game at Parc des Princes and will now undergo tests to determine the severity of the problem.
An early report from Diario AS says “initial reports suggest a tear in his left adductor muscle” which would see Olmo sidelined for around a month.
Olmo will undergo an MRI scan when he returns to the club and Barcelona will be hoping the World Cup winner is not set for too long on the sidelines.
The Spain star looks certain to at least miss Sunday’s Clasico but could also be ruled out of upcoming matches against Alaves, Aston Villa, Atletico Madrid, Villarreal and Sabah.
Olmo is the latest Barcelona to pick up an injury problem and joins Eric Garcia, Andreas Christensen and Jules Kounde on the sidelines currently.
