Nollywood actress, Yetunde Barnabas has accused Ajefunke Kofoshi of misleading the public about their dispute, insisting that Kofoshi was arrested rather than merely invited.
Barnabas reacted after Kofoshi shared a video of them together and claimed that she was invited by the police.
In an earlier post, Barnabas said the matter had been taken up legally and that Kofoshi had been asked to remove allegedly defamatory posts about her and her work and issue a public apology via video.
Barnabas later said they had “finally faced off legally” and that she had decided to let the matter go for the sake of peace, subject to certain conditions.
However, Kofoshi’s account prompted another response from Barnabas, who maintained that her critic had been arrested and had pleaded for forgiveness.
“You were picked up and arrested; you begged and admitted your wrongdoing and begged me, so I let it go for the sake of peace because there’s nothing in this life,” Barnabas wrote.
She also claimed that Kofoshi had asked her to make a video about the dispute and that she agreed after cautioning her against insulting others.
“Do not mislead the public,” Barnabas added.
