A pair of masked anti-Israel vandals wrecked a Brooklyn subway station last week, smashing seven OMNY machines to protest the payment-reader maker’s alleged ties to the IDF.
One brazen flannel-wearing dope used a drill and another tool to destroy the tap machines at the Church Avenue subway station on the B and Q line around 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to the footage and the NYPD.
A second bozo, seen wearing all black, stood on a folding chair while painting the cameras hanging from the ceiling of the station, according to the video, posted on X by far-left activist Calla Walsh.

Last week, a group of activists disabled the OMNY readers at the BQ Church Avenue station in Brooklyn with an automatic center punch and drill. They opened the gate so people can ride for free, and painted the cameras to protect themselves and fellow riders… pic.twitter.com/WsbZUS4v4X
In total, seven OMNY readers were destroyed during the vandalism spree, and the paint obscured about four cameras, according to authorities and law enforcement sources.
The damaged OMNY machines were worth about $2,600 each – or $18,200 in total, the sources said.
The video of the midday mayhem is emblazoned with the all-caps message, “OMNY SURVEILS, FIGHT BACK.”
The mischief-makers left two leaflets behind at the scene – one accusing the OMNY system of tracking riders’ travels and collecting their personal information.
“LIVE FREE, RIDE FREE, F–K THE NYPD,” that flyer said.
A second slammed OMNY’s parent company’s alleged ties to the Israeli military.
“Every time you tap, you send money to a war profiteer,” it said. “STOP THE GENOCIDE. FREE PALESTINE.”
The readers were repaired shortly after the incident, the MTA said Tuesday.
No arrests have been made, police said.
