Inside Kith's new Vancouver flagship store and ice cream shop at Oakridge Park mall

New York City-based upscale fashion and lifestyle brand Kith is making its debut in Western Canada today, bringing clothing, sneakers, and its signature ice cream shop concept — Kith Treats — to Vancouver’s new Oakridge Park mall.

The Vancouver flagship store opened this morning within the northwest corner of the indoor mall, and it is the retailer’s second Canadian flagship location. The expansion comes just over three years after Kith entered Canada with its first store in Toronto’s Yorkville district in September 2023.

Kith combines its own in-house fashion collection creations with collaborations spanning fashion, sports, entertainment, pop culture, and other inspirations. Its past partners include Nike, BMW, Disney, Versace, and Giorgio Armani.

Kith is marking the store opening at Oakridge Park with its latest footwear collaboration with Salomon, and a Vancouver-themed collection of clothing, accessories, and collectibles, including pieces with Vancouver Grizzlies branding.

At Oakridge Park, the store occupies a single level, with dedicated offerings for men, women, and children, alongside footwear displays, accessories, and designer clothing. The 9,000 sq. ft. space also has a secondary entrance, accessible from a future outdoor retail promenade at the mall.

This Vancouver flagship store’s design uses wood, stone, and contrasting colour palettes to distinguish the different shopping areas.

A walnut exterior leads into the men’s section, where dark wood walls, marble, brass details, and velvet panels create a richer, darker interior. The women’s section takes a lighter approach, with white oak flooring and ceilings, colourful stone shelving, and a seating area. It also includes a selection of designer handbags and fine jewellery exclusive to the Vancouver location.

The children’s area features whimsical cloud-shaped details on the ceiling and colourful stone display cubbies, with clothing and footwear for children and babies.

The opening also brings Kith Treats to Vancouver. Launched in 2015, four years after the fashion and retailing business was first created, the ancillary dessert business focuses on ice cream creations incorporating breakfast cereals and other sweet ingredients.

The ice cream shop can be accessed at its own entrance from the indoor mall corridor, next to the entrance into the clothing store. Its menu includes the brand’s regular signature offerings, rotating specials, and Vancouver-exclusive selections.

Among the options at Kith Treats is “The Nanaimo,” a Canada-exclusive creation inspired by the familiar B.C. dessert. It combines vanilla ice cream with Golden Grahams cereal, brownie bites, and coconut flakes, topped with chocolate drizzle, more coconut, and a slice of a Nanaimo bar. It costs $11 for an ice cream swirl or $12.50 as a milkshake.

There is also a fall seasonal option called “The Pumpkin Patch,” which blends vanilla ice cream with pumpkin, Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, and chai. Graham cracker crumbs and pumpkin seeds finish the dessert, priced at $11.50 for a swirl or $13 for a milkshake.

Customers can also build their own combination, choosing a swirl, milkshake, or waffle cone, with vanilla, chocolate, or non-dairy vanilla ice cream. The latter carries a $2 surcharge, while a waffle cone costs an additional $3. Each custom creation includes a choice of two mix-ins, with options ranging from Lucky Charms and Reese’s Puffs cereals to cookie dough, crushed Oreos, cheesecake bites, and chocolate bars.

Additional mix-ins cost 75 cents each, while premium additions, including caramel, chocolate, Nutella, or white chocolate drizzles, as well as strawberries and bananas, are listed at $1 each.

Kith’s opening comes nearly five months after Oakridge Park mall first opened in late May 2026, adding to the shopping centre’s predominantly luxury retail lineup.

Long lines formed outside the store and ice cream shop well before this morning’s grand opening ribbon-cutting.
