Syrian, Qatari foreign ministers discuss regional developments, bilateral ties

Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani met Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in Doha on Monday to discuss regional developments and bilateral relations, Anadolu reports. The Syrian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the two sides discussed the latest regional developments as well as ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and further develop relations between the two countries. They also stressed the importance of increasing coordination and joint consultations in a way that contributes to enhancing security and stability in the region.
