Michigan made the tough decision to bench quarterback Bryce Underwood at halftime of the team's home game against Penn State on Saturday.
What prompted the decision? Well, Underwood went 5-for-11 for 43 yards and two interceptions in the first half of Saturday's game.
That combines with previous season struggles that left Wolverines fans wondering just how much room Underwood had before the team benched him for freshman Tommy Carr.
We're not sure what this means for Underwood going forward, but Carr could play himself into a starting job if he's successful on the field. Underwood would be a highly sought-after transfer if he left Michigan.
