Ravens Week 7 injury report vs. Bengals: Lamar Jackson’s status puts Baltimore offense in limbo again appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The Baltimore Ravens enter Week 7 against the Cincinnati Bengals with their biggest offensive question still unanswered. Lamar Jackson is questionable with an ankle injury after participating on a limited basis in all three practices, leaving Baltimore to prepare without certainty at quarterback.
Jackson’s practice involvement keeps a return possible, but the report offers no confirmation that he will play. His availability remains the central storyline for an offense that must account for both his passing ability and the pressure his mobility puts on opposing defenses.
Baltimore’s official player page documents Jackson’s ankle injury and his recent progression back to limited practice. That provides context for his participation, but it does not settle his availability against Cincinnati.

Lamar Jackson’s questionable status leaves Baltimore balancing two plans
Jackson’s Wednesday, Thursday and Friday designations followed an identical pattern: limited participation. There was no listed setback, but there was also no upgrade to full participation before the final injury report.
That distinction matters. Taking practice snaps and handling an entire game are different demands, particularly for a quarterback whose movement can influence nearly every defensive decision.
If Jackson plays, Baltimore must determine how much of its offense he can comfortably execute. Designed quarterback runs, pocket escapes and throws outside the original play structure all place different demands on an injured ankle.
The concern is not simply whether Jackson can take the opening snap. It is whether he can protect himself, maintain his mechanics and respond when protection breaks down.
If he cannot play, Baltimore would need an approach suited to its replacement quarterback rather than expecting the same offensive possibilities. Either scenario makes preparation more complicated, with the final decision still unresolved.
Ravens receive encouraging updates around their uncertain quarterback
The supporting cast offers considerably more stability than Jackson’s designation might suggest. Mark Andrews practiced fully throughout the week despite a hand injury and carries no game designation.
Rashod Bateman progressed from limited participation Wednesday to full sessions Thursday and Friday while managing a shoulder injury. Matthew Hibner followed that same progression with a hand issue.
Baltimore also received encouraging participation from several offensive linemen. Guards Olaivavega Ioane, John Simpson and Andrew Vorhees each moved from limited work Wednesday to full participation over the final two practices. None received a game designation.
Center Cam Jurgens practiced fully all week despite appearing on the report with a concussion and likewise has no game designation.
Ronnie Stanley’s week requires a more careful reading. Listed with rest, toe and ankle concerns, he went from limited Wednesday to full Thursday before missing Friday. However, he has no game designation.
Those developments give Baltimore fewer listed availability concerns elsewhere on offense, even as its quarterback situation remains unsettled.
Defensive absences add pressure against Cincinnati
Baltimore has already ruled out safety Jaylinn Hawkins and outside linebacker Tavius Robinson. Hawkins missed the final two practices with a knee injury, while Robinson did not practice all week because of a pectoral injury.
Cornerback T.J. Tampa is doubtful after three limited practices with a knee issue. Defensive lineman Broderick Washington is questionable following the same participation pattern because of an ankle injury.
There are brighter spots. Trey Hendrickson practiced fully throughout the week despite a finger injury and has no game designation. Calais Campbell also has no designation after a rest-related practice schedule.
The defensive absences could narrow Baltimore’s options for rotations and substitutions. Combined with Jackson’s uncertain availability, they leave the Ravens facing important personnel decisions on both sides of the ball before kickoff against a divisional opponent, with limited margin for further disruption.
