All eyes were on Cade Cunningham as the Detroit Pistons kicked off the new NBA season with a win against the Boston Celtics.
The point guard stepped onto the court wearing Caitlin Clark ‘Ice Cold’ Nike Caitlin 1 shoes, and that seems to be turning heads.
Not only are fans in awe of the design, but many feel this is a brilliant way for Cunningham to show support for Clark.

Clark released her inaugural Nike line and signature sneaker, the Caitlin 1, on October 1 this year.
This came after Sabrina Ionescu’s Nike Sabrina 1 and 2, which were worn by Jalen Brunson, Jrue Holiday, and Mikal Bridges. That established a trend of male athletes endorsing female releases.
Cunningham putting on Clark’s new sneakers has got a lot of people talking, and most of them seem to be in love with the new shoes.
What’s earned even more praise is the Pistons star’s support for the Indiana Fever’s guard.

Cunningham signed a new deal with Nike in November 2025, and he is set to get his own line of shoes with the brand. They are scheduled to be released in the second half of the 2026-27 season.
