1. JORDAN HENDERSON (8.9)
If you had two goals from Henderson on your bingo card, you might be from the future and I need to know tomorrow’s lottery numbers and/or some stock tips. Share the wealth!
Speaking of sharing the wealth, Hendo was signed to provide some veteran leadership, to share the wealth of knowledge he had acquired in his length career. Scoring the “two beauties” was just bonus on top of everything else, as manager Xabi Alonso put it.
“We signed him for everything and if he’s able to score two beauties as he did today, we’re more than happy for him. But apart from the goals, he has done many good things. Take away the goals and it was a very good midfield performance, always involved in the actions, giving solutions to the team-mates with the way he plays and how he communicates with the players around, and with [Caicedo].”

2. JOÃO PEDRO (8.5)
Two more goals for JP, who leads the Premier League with eight direct goal involvements (5g+3a) and is just one behind Erling Haaland in the Golden Boot race.
3. MORGAN ROGERS (7.7)
Rogers, who’s gotten off to a wonderful start in his Chelsea career, just barely edges out Moisés Caicedo, Cole Palmer, and Pep Chavarría, all of whom would’ve easily deserved to stand on the player ratings podium as well.
