The Packers have taken advantage of Cowboys mistakes throughout the first 30 minutes of Sunday’s matchup, building a 17-0 lead at halftime.
Dak Prescott has thrown two interceptions while a couple of defensive pass interference penalties helped the Packers score a touchdown on a Jordan Love QB sneak toward the end of the second quarter.
Green Bay started the game 7-of-7 on third down and finished the first half 9-of-10 in the category. Green Bay has 225 total yards, 15 first downs, and is averaging 5.8 yards per play.
Love is 14-of-22 for 190 yards with a touchdown and an interception, plus two carries for 14 yards with a TD.
Matthew Golden caught the first touchdown pass from Love, capping a 14-play, 90-yard opening drive for the Packers in the first quarter. Trey Smack added a 25-yard field goal midway through the second period.
Golden leads with 71 yards on four catches while Christian Watson has two catches for 55 yards.
Prescott is 11-of-15 for 86 yards with two picks — both of which came in Green Bay territory. On the first, safety Evan Williams stepped in front of a pass intended for CeeDee Lamb at the 3-yard line. On the second, Lamb slipped on the turf, which allowed the ball to go Brandon Cisse.
Cowboys linebacker Dee Winters is questionable to return with an ankle injury. He had an interception in the first half. Returner KaVonte Turpin has been downgraded to out with a rib injury.
Green Bay tight end Tucker Kraft also suffered an apparent leg injury late in the second quarter.
The Packers will have a chance to double up, as they’ll receive the second-half kickoff.
