The Los Angeles Rams are favored over the Las Vegas Raiders by 5.5 points on FanDuel. Keep an eye on that line as it’s subject to change, and fans should expect it to move as the Rams may need to find another kicker after Blake Grupe was injured.
That situation could mean nothing to the linemakers, it could mean a lot, so keep your eye on the developing situation for the Rams who once again may need to find a new placekicker.
Despite the Rams being favorites against the Raiders, L.A. just lost to the Arizona Cardinals after being heavy favorites. So, the Rams have already proven that not only might they not cover the line, but they might lose outright. Even when favored.
From a betting perspective, unless you are betting against the Rams, they’ve been incredibly disappointing. If you are picking against L.A., then they’ve delivered with four losses to two wins.
Can the Rams deliver against the Raiders? Vegas boasts Maxx Crosby, Brock Bowers, Ashton Jeanty and Kirk Cousins.
If the Rams can lose to Jacoby Brissett and the Cardinals, they can lose to Cousins and the Raiders.
Of course, the Rams could get Myles Garrett back in Week 7. They could get Trent McDuffie back after he missed Week 6. All this to say, the Rams might boast a better roster in Week 7 than they did in Week 6, but so far, the Rams have been a team to bet against, not on.
Even if fully healthy, the discipline for L.A. has been poor with costly penalties, turnovers and a lack of execution in the “got to have it” moments that define an NFL season.
FanDuel has all your betting needs covered. If you are betting on the Rams, do it responsibly and carefully, as six weeks in the Rams don’t look like a Vegas darling, they look like a team to fade.
