Xceptor has already established a strong presence in the region, including the launch of its sovereign-grade SaaS offering and strategic partnership with GRCS for local implementation. A Japanese megabank recently selected Xceptor and GRCS to implement Xceptor's SaaS platform, streamlining fragmented post-trade workflows and building a foundation for future innovation. Xceptor now partners with two of Japan's three megabanks.
As part of its commitment to Japan, Xceptor has appointed Airi Iwamoto as Key Account Director and Satomi Hirono as Principal, Client Success. Both will focus on helping Japanese firms, from large banks to commodities houses (Sogo Shosha), automate mission-critical post-trade processes such as affirmations, confirmations, end-user computing (EUC) remediation, and fund services. Region-specific product capabilities, such as a Japanese-language user interface (UI), are also being rolled out to enable easier adoption and enhance the user experience.
“Many Japanese financial institutions rely on a significant number of disconnected EUC applications and manual processes developed around core banking systems,” said Keith Man, General Manager, APAC at Xceptor. “Any update to a core platform requires extensive testing for each application, adding risk while slowing transformation and AI adoption.”
“Japan’s megabanks are reshaping their Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) businesses to accelerate global growth,” added Keith Man. “Xceptor already partners with many of the world’s largest banks, and more Japanese firms are looking to draw on our experience to help them on that journey. I’m delighted to welcome Airi and Satomi to the team as we expand our presence in the region.”
Xceptor's Data Automation Platform integrates with clients’ existing internal systems and third-party providers, removing the need for wholesale infrastructure replacement. The platform combines agentic AI with business rules to ingest, validate, and transform data from any system, channel, or format. Multiple validation steps, human-in-the-loop workflows, and full audit trails are embedded for accuracy and control.
