Fighting game fans are being truly spoiled in 2026. Earlier this year we got Mortal Kombat II bringing fatalities back to the big screen and now it's Street Fighter's turn.
Marking Hollywood's second attempt at trying to bring the game to the big screen, Street Fighter promises a colourful, vibrant and faithful adaptation of the games right down to the sound effects players have come to love.
Starring Noah Centineo, Andrew Koji and Callina Liang alongside a couple of big WWE stars, the film centres around the titular fighters as they take part in the World Warrior Tournament to see who is the best.
After the 1994 film starring Jean-Claude Van Damme flopped with critics and audiences, the franchise was put on hold for over 30 years before finally being revived by comedy director Kitao Sakurai, who worked on the recent season of the Netflix show Beef.
Whether they've managed to do the impossible and bring the game to life in a satisfying way remains to be seen.
Thankfully, there's not long to wait. Read on to find out all you need to know about how and where to watch it.
