Whib, 82Major, Kiss of Life thrill Malaysian fans with high-energy performances, heartfelt messages, local love
The Idol Radio Live in Kuala Lumpur saw K-pop groups Whib, 82Major and Kiss of Life taking the stage to deliver a series of spectacular performances at the Inspire Live Arena last Saturday, with wave after wave of cheers and fan chants from the audience keeping the entire venue hyped from start to finish.
Whib charms fans
The boy group made a stylish entrance in sharp black suits. Although member Haseung was absent after being diagnosed with pneumothorax and advised to rest and recover, the six members who took the stage still captivated the audience with their undeniable charm.
This marked the group’s first visit to Malaysia since its debut in 2023, giving the group the opportunity to meet its Malaysian fans, known as “AnD”, for the first time.
When talking about Malaysian food, UGeon openly expressed his excitement to try local delicacies, specifically naming satay as one of the foods he wanted to taste.
Whib performed Who’s The Next, Rock The Nation and Elevate, while also bringing back its debut track Bang!.
Impressed by the enthusiastic response from Malaysians, the members praised the fans and said they would never forget the night, promising to return to Malaysia in even better form.

82Major shows off Malay skills
82Major returned to Malaysia just five months after its previous visit, once again meeting the group’s Malaysian fans.
As frequent visitors to Malaysia, the six members took turns introducing themselves in Malay, creating an especially warm and friendly atmosphere.
Leader Cho Seong-il greeted the crowd with “Apa khabar, Malaysia?” and shared it felt amazing to be back in the country.
The group performed tracks such as Trophy and Takeover, as well as 82Major’s latest September release Like Fire.
The members also compared the fans’ passion to the title of the song, saying that their energy was truly “Like Fire!”
Yoon Ye-chan excitedly shouted, “Malaysia mantap! 82DE mantap! Idol Radio mantap!”, while Nam Seong-mo picked up a new Malay phrase, “Jerit kuat-kuat”, encouraging the crowd to scream as loudly as they could.
Before wrapping up their segment, the members sweetly told fans, “Sayang korang”, before bidding farewell with “Jumpa lagi”, promising to meet their fans again.

Kiss of Life says it felt just like its own concert
Following the group’s first visit to Malaysia as part of its first world tour in April 2025, Kiss of Life returned for its second Malaysian performance.
Leader Julie and vocalist Belle took on the role of special MCs for the evening and surprised fans with a duet performance of Kiss Me More.
The four members later returned to the stage as the night’s grand finale, heating the venue with their energetic performances and charismatic presence.
From Sweat to Igloo, Lips Hips Kiss and Sticky, Kiss Of Life kept the crowd on their feet with back-to-back performances.
The enthusiastic response from Malaysian fans prompted Julie to remark that the atmosphere felt just like one of their own concerts.
The members also frequently flashed heart gestures towards the audience and happily declared, “We love Malaysia”.
Maknae Haneul expressed her hopes of returning to Malaysia again, before ending their performance with a sweet “We love you” to the group’s fans.
Ismail Izzani delivers special performance
Malaysian rising Gen Z Malay singer Ismail Izzani was also invited as a special guest performer for the evening. He performed Luar Biasa, One On One and Bidadar.
Speaking about South Korean boy group Zerobaseone previously covering one of his songs during its Malaysian concert, Ismail said he felt extremely honoured.
When asked who his current favourite idol is, he named Cortis. He then surprised the audience by singing a short excerpt of Bigbang member Taeyang’s Eyes, Nose, Lips in Korean, showcasing his Korean-language skills.
