Amiri and FC Barcelona are extending their relationship.
This marks the second season of the Los Angeles-based brand’s deal to serve as the team’s official formalwear partner. The latest collection offers pieces that blend tailoring with a sporting spirit and includes Italian-inspired suits in multistriped, gray wool — a nod to the team’s kits with their distinctive stripes.
Specifically, a double-breasted, two-button jacket, finished with an MA nickel pin on the peak lapel, is paired with a relaxed-fit striped oxford shirt in cotton-lend poplin, slightly flared trousers with slash pockets and a silk twill tie in garnet, one of the signature colors in the blaugrana kit. There’s also a shirt-collar blouson jacket in lambskin leather in the same garnet tone that sports an intricate relief-embossed Barça crest on the chest and back. Each section of the crest pays tribute to the club, the city of Barcelona and the region of Catalonia, through motifs that include the Saint George’s Cross, the Senyera (the Catalan flag) and a vintage-style soccer ball.
Some of the team’s highest-profile players including Lamine Yamal, Pedri González, Jules Kounde, Rodri, Raphinha and Anthony Gordon will be featured in the marketing materials for the new collection.
For the club executives and leadership, Amiri created a single-breasted one-button peak-lapel jacket and classic-fit trousers with slash pockets in a gray wool mix. They are also being provided with a white oxford shirt in cotton poplin, a garnet silk-twill tie and a gray double-breasted six-button wool overcoat.
Rounding out the wardrobe is a selection of accessories and fine leather goods in gray, embossed with Amiri’s signature MA Quad Monogram: a travel duffle, dopp kit and a belt featuring the MA Monogram as the buckle.
“Fashion and football share a powerful connection through creativity, individuality and the art of self-expression,” said Mike Amiri, founder and creative director of Amiri. “Both celebrate the freedom to express identity through movement, style and instinct. Both are built on a foundation of craftsmanship, precision and an unwavering pursuit of excellence. What I find particularly inspiring about FC Barcelona is the balance between heritage and modernity, a deep respect for tradition alongside a constant desire to evolve and redefine what is possible. These are values that resonate deeply with Amiri. Our continued partnership is a celebration of that shared spirit, bringing together two worlds through creativity, culture and a mutual appreciation for the art of what we do.”
Joan Soler i Ferré, vice president, commercial area for FC Barcelona, added that Amiri “shares FC Barcelona’s appreciation for the balance between heritage and innovation. This collaboration goes beyond style, bringing together two identities with a strong sense of character and a distinctive global presence. This season’s suits reflect that shared vision, combining Amiri’s craftsmanship and contemporary design with details inspired by the club, the city of Barcelona and Catalonia. The result is a sophisticated expression of our identity, showcasing how our values and heritage can be communicated beyond the pitch.”
Amiri inked a deal last November to serve as the team’s formalwear partner.
